just getting started

Okay I have determined to PE on as a serious long term project, at present I am only a week and a half into JonPop's beginer program. I have already noticed a better hang and more scrotal slack/comfort.

I am at present 4.5 EL. With dedication over the next 2+ years will I be likely able to acheive a 6.5 EL??

I plan on using JonPop's newbie routine 6 months on a 2 on 1 off basis, and then phase in other exercises and purchase a jelq and stretch device some time down the road.
Probably adding or persuing something different at each point gains might seem to stop for several weeks.

Anyway does anyone have any advice about reasonable expectations for some one starting from my postion?? (4.5 EL)

Welcome to Betterman Micro!

Those gains are reasonable, in my opinion. JonPop made over 2 inches in length in under a year, and now he's almost at 7.5! In just under a half a year I've gained near an inch, so I think you can do it man. The keys are dedication, motivation, the right tools/resources, and setting some goals. Looks like you are already on your way. Keep us updated and let us know how we can help.

Question Split Workout - AM and PM???

Hey Everyone!
I'm also just starting out here and have been reading as much as possible before I start actually doing anything. (better safe, than sorry)
I noticed some lengthy workouts and schedules, but I was just wondering about doing a split workout like 15min in the morning and then 15min in the evening.
Is that recommended or advised?
Thanks for any advice!
I'll be sure to post my specs in the newbie section soon...

Those "lengthy workouts" evolved over time. That is, most all of us started out with the routine you have suggested - 15 minutes. See JonPop's beginner routine for some helpful information, tips, and advice on starting out.

You gotta ease into this. It's just like working any other part of your body, it has to get in shape before you starting applying serious stresses. If you go too fast you'll be taking many steps backwards in that you'll probably see some type of injury or too much soreness. Ease into it. Take your time. Commit to the long haul. After a couple of months you'll be pulling and tugging until you can't pull and tug anymore.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the info Marty5379! That was my assumption because I've been working out (weights, running, etc.) for years and keep in pretty good shape, so I was comparing the two or treating them as equal (both muscles).

The forums are great, so I'll just keep reading and posting occasionally as I make some progress. I'm going for the manual/hand workouts for the first few months and then might try the jelq or other stretching devices. I've pulled muscles in the past and it is not comfortable by any means, so when dealing with this muscle group, I'm getting as much info as possible!

Can't wait to see how I progress? Hopefully being in good physical shape and drinking at least a gallon of water per day (part of current workout/diet) will help me make some good gains in the first few months, plus that will be a good motivation factor!

Thanks again...
