Gentleman,

Here is a great website that will help you in all the decisions that you might need to make about amino acid supplements. I am currently taking, Arginine, Orithine, Lysine, Histidine, Glutamine. I am not saying that these will work for you. I just wanted to put it out there of what is out there. For those who don't take Arginine because of cold soures. I just want to let you know that Histidine can help in that department.

Cold sores and kankar sores are a form of herpes. This being said, Arginine causes Vasilidation (more blood flow), there for these bothersome mouth issues can arise more often. People that have HERPES are advised against eating to much Protein rich foods. The body breaks down these protiens into your basic amino acids i.e. L-Arginine.
