As some of you know, over the past two years (going on three) we have been working, with the help of a leading laboratory, to develop a product (now known as Enlargel) that I believe will change PE forever. I know that several of you have been waiting for more information about this, so, without further delay, here is some preliminary information on this exciting new development. Enlargel is a revolutionary new male enhancement product, currently in production, that will be available to the public by September 1, 2004. Testosterone production is a heavily studied and very well documented part of the male sexual function. Increases in testosterone, among other things, cause increases in sex drive and an overall improved sexual function. Further, it has been proven that testosterone is a key force in male sexual development, and those with higher levels of testosterone tend to have a more developed sexual function, and often larger and more developed genitals, i.e. men with an improved ability to produce testosterone tend to have larger penises.
Vasodilators are relatively new in terms of their relationship to male sexual function. Viagra and Cialas are two well know vasodilators that are currently available to men, by prescription, for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and impotence. However,*the effects of prescription vasodilators are spread out over time, often take several hours to have any effect, and thus create a diluted response. Name: Maca Extract (Lepidium Meyenii Walp)

Traditionally the Maca plant was used for improved fertility and to increase male seminal fluid volume, sperm count sperm motility, for treating male impotence and erectile dysfunction. Due to the number of steroidal glycossides present in Maca root it is gaining popularity among men for natural male enhancement.
Arizona physician Gary F. Gordon, M.D., former president of the American College for Advancement in Medicine, is also a maca supporter. "We all hear rumors about various products like maca. But using this Peruvian root myself, I personally experienced a significant improvement in erectile tissue response.
What I see in maca is a means of normalizing our steroid hormones like testosterone, progesterone and estrogen. Therefore it has the facility to forestall the hormonal changes of aging. It acts on men to restore them to a healthy functional status in which they experience a more active libido."
Name: L-Arginine
Classification: Vasodilator, Androgen Precursor
L-arginine acts as an Androgen Precursor because it is the precursor in the synthesis of polyamines [Mendez JD, Hernandez MP. Ginecol Obstet Mex 1993;61:229-34] and as a Vasodilator because it is the precursor to nitric oxide (NO) [Lewis SE, et al. Mol Hum Reprod 1996;2(11):873-8].
L-Arginine is a naturally occurring amino acid, one of the "Semi essential" amino acids that can open up blood vessels throughout the body. It forms nitric oxide, which dilates blood vessels, carrying oxygenated blood and nutrients to vital organs and tissues including the penis. L-Arginine is an amino acid that stimulates growth hormone release and enhances the reproductive system.
Anecdotal reports suggest that L-arginine supplements can improve fertility in men who have low sperm counts or poor sperm motility (activity). Durk Pearson and Sandy Shaw contend that L-arginine supplements can double sperm count. [Keller, 1975; Salvadorini, 1974].
Name: Niacin
Classification: Vasodilator
Niacin is Important for many cellular processes to take place in the body. Niacin promotes increased blood flow to all parts of the body, including the scrotum and testicles.
Name: Damiana (Turnera Aphrodisiaca)
Classification: Androgen Precursor
Damiana (Turnera Aphrodisiaca) is another major component of countless male enhancement products, aphrodisiacs, and impotence cures. Damiana (Turnera Aphrodisiaca) is primarily known for its sexual enhancing qualities and positive effects on the reproductive organs. The pharmacology of the plant suggests that its alkaloids could have testosterone-like actions. Damiana is good for strengthening the hormonal systems.
Name: Yohimbe (Pausinystalia Johimbe)

Yohimbe (Pausinystalia Johimbe) is the ONLY herb listed in the ( Physician's Desk Reference ) as supporting sexual function. The FDA approved Pausinystalia Johimbe ( the active ingredient in Yohimbe ) as the ONLY PLANT-DERIVED TREATMENT FOR IMPOTENCE years before Viagra came along, nickname "Herbal Viagra". Yohimbe's power comes from combination of alkaloid Yohimbe (Pausinystalia Johimbe) blocks alpha-2 adrenergic nerve activity, which normally constricts the blood vessels are allowed to dilate. The result is that the Yohimbe (Pausinystalia Johimbe) increases blood flow while reducing blood pressure. Increased blood flow enhances a man's ability to achieve and maintain an erection. Yohimbe's effects stem from it's ability to increase blood flow to the genitals. It is thought to stimulate the pelvic nerve ganglia and thus is helpful for men with erection problems. Effects can include increased libido, increased sensation and increased stamina. It increases the body's production of norepinephrine which is essential in the formulation of erections. Yohimbe may also boost the adrenaline supply to nerve endings, which can quicken male sensual stimulation.
The bark of the West African yohimbe tree is a traditional aphrodisiac and the source of yohimbine, a prescription drug for impotence. Yohimbine (the drug) has shown promising results, better than placebo, and successful in about 65% to 75% of the men who use it.
Natives to West Africa have used yohimbe for centuries by making a bitter tea from bark shavings. Drinking the tea allowed warriors who were preparing for battle become more fearless and aggressive and have more stamina. Africans used yohimbe tea selectively to help promote love as well as war. Male members of some tribes would take yohimbe as part of marriage and mating rituals and during special week-long fertility celebrations when sexual relations would be encouraged. Yohimbe gained a reputation for increasing libido as well as improving male sexual performance by enhancing the size and staying power of erections.
A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials of yohimbine for erectile dysfunction concluded that the alkaloid is superior to placebo and that serious adverse reactions were infrequent and reversible. The authors described yohimbine as "a reasonable therapeutic option for erectile dysfunction that should be considered as an initial pharmacologic intervention." Researchers at Valparaiso University in Indiana found that yohimbine had more beneficial effects on most aspects of sexual response in men with erectile dysfunction than in sexually functional men, including an increase in the frequency of sexual activity and increased sexual arousal and erectile response during masturbation.
Scientific studies on yohimbe conducted since the 1930s have confirmed that the herb has definite effects on aspects of sexual performance. The alkaloid yohimbine isolated from yohimbe has become generally accepted by the medical establishment as an effective drug to treat some types of male impotence. Yohimbe*has been the subject of at least two-dozen scientific studies, most of which have confirmed its ability to increase blood flow to the penis and cause "erectile stimulation." Today yohimbine is approved by the FDA for treatment of male impotence.

One of the best herbs to use for erectile dysfunction is Muira Puama. This shrub is native to Brazil and has long been used as a powerful aphrodisiac and nerve stimulant in South American folk medicine. A recent clinical study has validated its safety and effectiveness in improving sexual function in patients.
A paper presented at The First International Congress on Ethnopharmacology held in Strasbourg, France, in 1990, described a trial done at the Institute of Sexology in Paris on 262 men with erection problems and a lack of sexual desire. Name: Ginko Biloba (Folium Ginkgoidis)
Classification: Vasodilator
The Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract enhances blood circulation and increases the supply of oxygen to the heart, brain and all body parts. In the male, it improves the arterial inflow to erectile tissues through arteries and veins without any change to systemic blood pressure. It is therefore considered to be extremely beneficial to male sexual enhancement by providing an increase in blood flow.
Name: Saw Palmetto (Serenoa Serrulata)
Classification:*Vasodilator, Androgen Precursor
Now widely known to stimulate the male sexual organs. Recent studies in Europe show that saw palmetto is an effective treatment for many men, and that an extract of saw palmetto can improve prostate function.
Name: Nettle Extract (Urtica Dioica)

Nettle (urtica dioica) extract detaches testosterone from its carrier protein, the Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG), whose quantity increases with age; and releases more "free" testosterone, the useful form for sexual activity.
Name: Androstenedione
Classification: Androgen Precursor
Androstenedione is the hormone that is a direct precursor and metabolite of the hormone testosterone. Androstenedione and testosterone convert back and forth to each other by action of the enzyme 17-beta hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase. Since Androstenedione is synthesized into testosterone, it's supplementation likely increases testosterone production and the androgenic properties associated with testosterone. German studies have shown up to a 237% increase in free testosterone levels after a small dose of androstenedione.
Name: Tribulus Terrestris
Classification: Vasodilator, Androgen Precursor
One rodent study found Tribulus to be helpful in male sexual enhancement. Intracavernous pressure (ICP) were studied in both normal and castrated rats to further understand the role of tribulus as a male enhancement vehicle. ICP refers to blood flow into the corpus cavernosa of the penis. Adult rats were divided into groups of 8 each that included distilled water treated (normal and castrated), testosterone treated (normal and castrated, 10 mg/kg body weight) and tribulus treated (castrated, 5 mg/kg body weight). Decreases in body weight, prostate weight and ICP were observed among the castrated groups of rats compared to the intact group. Compared to the castrated control, treatment of castrated rats (with either testosterone or tribulus extract) showed increase in prostate weight and ICP. There was also a mild to moderate improvement in sexual behavior as evidenced by an increase in mounting frequency.
