Age doesn't necessarily mean experience. I've been with women in their early 20's that were very experienced and really knew how to bring pleasure in a man, I've also known women in their late 30's that were somewhat clueless and had to be taught everything. Eagerness or being wild is different than being experienced. Experienced means skill in my mind.

I've been struggling on how to respond to this. Do I like women older or younger than I am? Do I like women who are young or who are generally considered mature? At what age do people generally consider women to stop being "young," and start being "mature?" I'd guess the transition is around 40, but some may think it is younger. Perhaps 35, or 30. Well, I guess I really CAN answer this, because I've always tended to like women who are my age or older. Now that I'm 46, I guess by any standard I like "older women!"

I know I've stated my preference for typically older women as that's all I've ever had. My ex was 4 years older than I am and when I was 20, I casually dated a woman who was 26. But, I'll go older (not too old mind you) or younger (ideally no younger than 28). As long as she works full time and treats me with respect.

Being that I'm close to 35, I'd easily date a 45 year old as long as she had it going on, had a good job and was a decent, respectable woman. Oh, almost forgot, whoever I date MUST like sex. I think that the conventional wisdom is based on a visual perspective. In that sense, it think most guys will find young women more appealing... as "eye candy" so to speak. But from a sexual perspective, it sounds like most guys here want a woman with some experience/skills so they (myself included) are willing to forgo the "eye candy" for a more gratifying time in the sack.

I think peoples choice also changes depending on their own age. For example younger men may like older women for reasons mentioned above but there are also many older men who choose to go with women who are a lot younger.
