Certainly women aren't all the same, but this chart tries to generalize that women, on average, will like a cock that is quite a bit larger than women, on average, really will like. And the data used to generate this chart comes from.... where???

Maybe its true (maybe not), but would a woman really ENJOY a 9 x 8 cock? I don't think so, and while he doesn't come out and say she would, the implication is that something pretty close to that size is good.

How much pseudoscience can one actually inject into this type of debate? Either a particular woman likes a big dick or she doesn't. You can't just say, "No you don't lady! You're a liar!" If she does, she does. That's a matter of opinion, not fact, hence it can't actually be wrong.

I couldn't agree more. My issue with that site is that the author clearly suggests that nearly all women would prefer a very large penis, that it is very important to them, and those women that claim otherwise are not being honest. He does make a few comments that are less dogmatic, but they take a back seat to his primary thesis. He goes on to invoke various studies and publications, uses "scientific proof" such as the pupil test, etc. The point of his site seems to be (to me) that anyone with less than a VERY large tool is NOT going to be able to satisfy a woman, and that any man who does not place a high priority on having a VERY large tool basically has his head in the sand. I think (despite having some good and entertaining stuff on his site) this guy has his head up his ass. I really think he is out to encourage self-doubt in order to sell his book and get click-throughs to his sponsors.

My own view is that penis size does matter, but the degree to which it is important can vary a lot from person to person. I think for MOST women, size is not very high on the list of things they are looking for in a long term mate. Of course this assumes that your size is somewhere in the "normal" range. For some women it may be very important. I'm into this because I want to make my penis and my lovemaking memorable for any woman I am with. This does not mean I think I was unable to fully satisfy a woman before, nor do I think it will make women jump into bed with me or want to marry me. I think the whole issue is very complex -- emotional, physical, psychological, societal, interpersonal... and to reduce it to charts and half-baked rationales and generalizations the way this guy does is just assinine.

Last comments -- Obviously I am a believer in PE, both that it works and that it is something I want to do. I also enjoy the discussions on this forum. I'm feeling kind of defensive because I don't buy into this guy's whole hypothesis and methodology of "proof." I've liked Betterman because it is largely non-commercial, non-judgemental, and highly supportive. I find that Penis Size Debate site to be kind of the antithesis of Betterman. I just don't want my friends here at Betterman to think that my criticisms of PSD are a reflection of what we are all trying to accomplish for our own various reasons here at Betterman.

I think there is a very large piece of the puzzle missing in the "Does Size Matter" debate. Some of you are incorrectly assuming that penis size is the most, or one of the most, important things to a woman in a relationship. I can most assure you it is not!!

I have never dated a guy, and quite franky I don't believe other women have dated guys, in which we knew his penis size in advance. So, are you saying if a women goes out with you for several weeks and really enjoys your company, but when we finally see your penis is very small, our attitude is, "Well, I'll just go out with him UNTIL I can find a guy who has a penis that's larger?"

I think the biggest problem in this entire debate is that women just don't obsess over not only penis size, but looks in general, as guys do.

If I just wanted to get laid, then, yes, I would concede that I may, in fact, want a guy who had a really thick penis. However, now you are moving into the skank division of women. You can go to a bar and find these women to use as your sexual outlet.

However, I think most of you want more than just that with a woman. There is much more to life than just sex, you know. If all two people share together is sex, then they probably won't last too long as a couple.

I am hoping that some of the previous comments made about guys having a large penis so that they would be able to "hurt a woman" were just being sarcastic and/or cute.

I think (hope) that I have come to understand the way size can matter to different women. Men often tend to look at things in a very compartmentalized and analytical way, and that is just not how sexuality works for most women. This is why I dislike the message conveyed by the the Penis Size Debate site. (Yes, I know he makes many statements that support the more feminine view of this, but the overall tone of the site - to me - is to promote feelings of inadequacy if one's dick isnt over 8 x 6.)

Regarding the comments about wanting to hurt a girl, I'm not sure what to make of those posts but without getting into a long winded response (of which I am fully capable!) I felt it necessary to express my feelings about anyone who would be motivated by a desire to hurt someone.

Thanks for making a point that I failed to make earlier. Having four older brothers, I am very well aware that sometimes "boys will be boys". I am also aware that this is a website that is used predominately by men. This type of "sexual banter" is, obviously, going to be prevelant in these settings. No problem; I understand that.

However, I was doing what this forum asked me to do and give a female perspective on various issues. I did not do a good enough job in articulating that it is one thing to write these types of comments in jest. And as long as everyone TAKES them in jest, then everything is okay.

I brought this up because i've known alot of guys that have been hurt by comments from girlfriends and ex-girlfriends about their penis. Not necessarily in this site but on another. It is truely hurtful just as a guy telling his gf that he wished she had bigger breasts or smaller thighs.

I have been re-thinking my goals a lot lately since I am a hard gainer. I will most likely stop at either 11"x7" or 12"x6.5", whichever I reach first.
