| New Jelq Exercise? Okay you guys, don't jump all over me if this won't work. Remember I don't have a penis (or at least one that is permanently attached to me!)
Last night, I was watching my b/f do his jelq exercises. He was doing them the traditional way of the thumb on top and the index finger on the bottom and then squeezing to the top of his penis. After a while his hands got tired.
While he was resting, I put my thumb on one SIDE of his penis and my index finger on the other SIDE and starting squeezing while pulling towards the top of his penis.
In my limited reading about jelqing, I have never read it being done this way. Is it because this way won't work? Or won't work very well? When I say "won't work", I mean will it provide for any significant girth growth as compared to the traditional method?
Why don't you guys try to jelq this way in the next few days and see what you think. Thanks for your input. If they actually do work, maybe we can call them the Jennifer Jelqs. Ha Ha.

| Your Boy Friend has started out doing the Jelqing wrong.
In order to correctly do a wet jelq, we use what is called a reverse O.K. sign.
Start with say, the right hand. Make the O.K. sign, press thumb and index finger against the pubic bone, palm facing downward, other fingers facing left.
Grip the penis at the base of the shaft as close to the pubic bone as possible.
Slide up the shaft holding the grip untill the glans is reached. At this time the other hand starts sliding up the shaft as the first hand releases.
The pressure from the thumb and index finger are on the sides of the shaft.
Use plenty of lube for these exercises as you want the fingers to slide freely without pulling the skin. A good rhythm should be established with the strokes taking 2-3 seconds each. A stroke from both the right and left hands, =1 rep. A good place for your B/F to start would be my "A Beginners routine for Newbies" found in the "Penis Enlargment" forum. Hope this helps. JP

| Aren't we over-complicating the jelq? That's why there are so many different types. As long as you trap blood in the penis and keep it there, then things should work. I think we could call wet jelqs by a woman on her man Jennifer Jelqs. Sounds hot!

| I don't think I could do "Jennifer Jelqs". I would definetly get an erection and maintain it the whole time a women is touching it.

Thanks for the info. Quite frankly, I wasn't really paying that much attention as to the thumb and index finger. All I know is that one was on the top and the other one was on the bottom of his penis.
I realize a penis is an organ and not a muscle, but doesn't enlarging them entail the same concept - getting more blood in that particular area?
I see guys at the health club I belong to doing numerous tricep exercises. When I ask them why they do so many variations, their answers are all the same - "I'm trying to hit a different angle".
My b/f said that he did feel a different type pull when I was jelqing him on the sides of his penis. I guess because he had done so many of the regular ones, when I started doing these "side" jelqs, he did not get an erection from me doing them to him.
Thanks again for all of your help.

| Jennifer, was only giving you the very basic grip for jelqing. There are so many variations and angles. For instance, the 'V' Jelq, the dry jelq, the squash jelq, the Power Jelq device and on and on. And with the variation of angles the possibilities are endless.

| In all honesty... i don't see a difference in doing the basic jelq (i'm assuming that this is wht the question was about) with palm up or down or with fingers on the sides or otherwise. The key things that we must all keep in mind when doing jelqs is the grip, speed, and angle of jelq (in that order). Everything else is irrevelent in my opinion.
The grip should be tight enough to constrict the blood so that when you slide your grip from base to glans, you are effectively moving blood and causing maximum engorgement.
The speed of the jelq is the next most thing in that the slower the jelq, the longer you are applying stress to the penile tissues. The more time you put the tissues under tension, the better the results.
The last and very least item of concern is the angle or direction of the jelq. Because jelqing not only engorges the tissues but also pulls on them. This is the reason why length gains can be had with jelqs. That said, the direction of jelq should also follow the rules for stretching if length gains are what you are after.
This is not like working out a muscle were different angles work the muscle differently... remember that engorgement is what causes girth gains regardless of angles. Angles are only important when working on length because different angles focus the stretch to either the ligs, the tunica, or both at the same time. This is in no way, shape, or form like working a muscle like one's tricep. |
