Another technique i developed that i hope it might help you out.
If ever you want to set the rod at a higher length, Just set it to a point that there is an allowance of 1 cm if you try to pull your penis head away from the supporting surface after you attach the PM.
1.) If you start to feel pain, hold the penis head with your right hand (use your thumb and pointing finger. Grab the head between them) and the PM supporting surface with your left hand. Slowly and very gently, pull the penis head away from your your body while the supporting surface is being pushed towards your body. This realease the tension between the penis head and the frenum. If you do it corectly, you will see the mushroom like penis head moving and the edge (not the end of the penis head but the tip just between the head and the frenum) to move out from the strap, and a white like line shows up. If you're able touch this, it's painful. This is where the stress of the grip cause you that 15 min pain. Hold it still for a few minutes. Notice the white line turn to reddish like? It is because the blood finally be able to pass by. Don't be frightened. This is best done perpendicularly, meaning the penis is 90 degress aligned from the abdomen.
2.) Now with the white line gone, move the penis up and parrallel to your abdomen while maintaining the hold. If done correctly the penis is now facing the top, just like having an erection. Hold it that way for a few minutes. The coldness will now slowly go away. This is because the blood can now flow back. Blood flow usually get stuck at the head due to the gravity and the grip. This is why the head turn greayish and cold.
3.) Now slowly and gently rotate the head in any way you like, counter clockwise or clockwise for several minutes.
4.) While still maintainig the grip, slowly put back the penis to the original position - parrallel with the abdomen but this time facing down.
5.) Slowly release the hand grip of the penis head.
6.) Then release the PM supporting plate slowly.
You will feel a bit sting, but not painful. This is because the penis undergo another tension. But it will be gone by then. This method will last you another 15 - 20 minutes (depending on the tension and the sensitivity of your penis). Just keep on repeating until you reach the 60 - 90 minutes stretch, then take it off, massage and rest for 15 minutes.
If this doesn't work or it will bring more pain, please stop immidiately. I've been using this technique for 2 weeks and i find it effective.
