Anyone watching the Ken Burns"the war" special? | I still say although everybody was mad as hell at Germany for the 2 years Hitler was invading Eastern Europe we still never went over there. So Japan attacks Pearl harbor and we go to Europe first instead of Japan? I think Roosevelt and Bush are related as far as how they twist shit up. We had no damn business going to Europe first anymore than Bush did going to Iraq.

This was a giant morale boost for the war effort that we were able to hit their homeland.
P.S. just went and read the wikipedia story. What I wrote was what I'd always heard.

Try growing up with a German first name and a German last name and then try telling me that it doesn't bother you when people mock you and ridicule you. Even today at 23 years old I still deal with ignorant fucks all the time who can't understand the concept that German does not equal Nazi. I absolutely hate it and it infuriates me, so YES, the two situations are comparable. I'm not stirring up shit to be a jerk here. I genuinely find it insulting.

You have perpetuated this ridulous argument because YOU have to always be right. Well, sometimes you are not right! And this is one of those times!!
This is exactly the kind of namby-pamby shit that keeps me away from this forum. Instead of coming here to have some fun, we have to get lectured by a 23 year old because he is hyper-sensitive about his heritage. Maybe I will be back and maybe I WON'T!!

| Disagreements such as this and....this is JUST a disagreement, DO NOT belong in public forum. You BOTH know better. If you must continue, although I can't see why you would want this to esclate any further, PLEASE take it indoors. AND, please Jennifer, don't make any hasty emotional decisions, Nor you Uber. Good God, I am gone for a few hours and look what happens.
