In my opinion, it's starts as flirting as first....then escalates from that that point. Flirting is a natural action. The key is knowing to be willing to know when flirting is "flirting with disaster." Which is usually "Very Hard."

Betterman....You hit it on the head! Also if your in a uninteresting marriage or having problems then, flirting will quickly become a big problem. BTW I got a laugh out of the "flirting with disaster" part lol lol lol.

Let's get real folks... On average, couples married for more than 10 years have sex approximately once a week. That's on average so there are times where they go longer without sex. People have a tendency to accept their situations as normal and make it part of their rut. Sooner or later, someone will come along and entice you with something that you long for...

That said, once a couple has invested that much time together building a family, a home, and a retirement nest egg, they are willing to accept less frequent sex for the bigger picture. In fact they forget what it was like to have sex everyday. That is until they meet someone that rocks their world and only then do they decide to cheat. Are they willing to give up their whole life to have sex a few times with someone?? HELL NO!! I personally work with a guy who admitted that he sometimes goes a month or longer without sex. He loves his wife and children, makes a six-figure income, has a nice home in the suburb, and is involved with his community. I know for a fact that he has cheated on his wife. Do you guys really expect him to give up his whole life so he can have sex with some bimbo?? Maybe from a moral standpoint.. but in the real world, he will do what many have done before him. Cheat.

Then you're SOL and at the mercy of your partner... but that's the risk everyone takes when they cheat and we all know that if you do it long enough, you WILL get caught.
