Proper Comfort

I'm never sure if I'm stretching too much, or not enough when I use the PM. On a scale from 1 -10, how much discomfort is ok to experience? Consider reduced circulation, pull, etc. I've generally been wearing it for about 2 hours at a time before taking a break. It's not fun, but bearable.

As with all PE, the rule of thumb is to never go to pain. Just because they tell you you should wear the PM in 3-hour sessions doesn't mean that you have to do that. When I first got the PM I could only wear it about an hour before it got so uncomfortable that I had to take it off. Three hours is really the maximum without a break to rest. I take two factors into consideration when I'm wearing my PeniMaster. If my glans gets cold or I get a burning sensation from the tension, I take it off. I'm not sure how to quantify that pain level with a number.

So is it ok if the glans gets a little cold as long as you don't lose sensation?

A little cool, yes. If it gets really cool, take the PM off.

Thank you for answering so many questions. I have one more though. Will the PM still be effective if I receive a very light stretch (like maybe 3 out of 10 on a scale where 10 is something I could do with my hand and a lot of arm strength)? My main point in asking these questions is that I want to get an idea of how little discomfort I can endure while still getting optimal results. I want to be safe but I want to maximize my gains too.

Yes, but you'll obviously need to wear it for much longer.

You can quantify the amount of stretch you are getting by looking at the scribe marks on the tension rods. I usually wear mine with just two lines showing. When I notice more lines showing due to stretch or the PM sinking into my fat pad, I adjust the tension rods until there are just two lines showing again.

There is a period of getting accustom to the feeling of the PM stretching. When I first got mine, I could not wear it for very long at all with only 2 lines showing.

Remember, the PM is a very long term growth mechanism. It is not designed to pull your dick out from inside you in a week. Take your time and wear it with a level of comfort that makes you happy and that is convenient for you. By convenient I mean how quickly/easily you can remove it withtout others seeing you tear off your pants and release the PM. If you're in an office with only 1 bathroom, you probably want to wear it with a little less tension in case you have to wait a few minutes to remove it if it becomse uncomfortable.

Good luck and good gains!

I never wear it outside. But do you wear it all day with no breaks at a very low tension?

I wear mine as much as possible. I wear it at work, working on my car, house or motorcycles or when out doing things. I don't wear it when I am doing sports or exercise though (except disc golf).

Wear it as long as it is comfortable or you need to use the restroom. Wear it at a comfortable comfort level, regardless of how many lines are visible on the tension rods.

GRX, have you gotten any measurable gains from this technique? And also, how do you move around in it? Maybe there is something that I'm missing, but it seems really bulky and awkward to move around in.
