| just bought a PM... Hello all,
long time lurker, just registered so i could post this question: I've been using the PJ off and on over the last couple years. When I measured myself a few months ago, I saw that I had made some pretty significant gains while not really doing it very consistently, so this got me very motivated.
I just ordered the PM because I want more length, the PJ mainly gave me girth so far. I intend to wear it for about 1 hour a day, I cant really wear it much more than that due to work and social life, but will when I can. So, how much length can I reasonably expect to gain in, say four months' time, on average (I know everyone is different...) based on your own experiences, with a minimum of 5 - 7 hours a week?
I intended to keep doing the PJ as well, my routine is pretty basic, I warm up in a hot shower with manual jelqs, then when well engorged, I do about 100 - 150 reps, then warm down with manuals. I intend to wear the PM after the shower PJ session.
Other questions:
• can the PM be worn erect?
• does it help to counter the "baseball bat" effect I've read about?

You can wear the PM under clothes if your pants are baggy/loose enough. I wear mine quite a bit and most people don't even notice.
It would be hard for anybody to say how much you will gain because people gain at different rates. The best bet would be to wear it as long as possible/comfortable for you. Regarding your questions:
1.) I have gotten an erection when wearing my PM. For me, the base acts like a cock ring and makes it a little difficult for the erection to subside. I have never had any problems when I getting erect in the PM though.
2.) I really can't answer this question. Read the manual that comes with your PM to see if that has the answer.

| thanks for the advice. I've actually seen the 3 part dry jelq, and i've worked it into my warm up/warm down manual jelq routine somewhat. I also have a slight curve that I would like to eliminate, hoping the PM can help, I've seen some threads here that say it does (as well as their site). Also, I'm wondering if there is a way to target the base for girth. I imagine that the 3 part jelq does this inherently, but are there any other methods? Also, if anyone can post a little about their gains with the PM just so I can have an idea of what to expect, that would be great. I will read the other threads here too. Thanks again! |

| Chang: Welcome to betterman. MY gains in a 3 month period were alright, 2cm from just using the device. I wore the device for 6-8 hours a day though. If you wear it for 1 hour a day Im not sure if you will be pleased with the results. But, it's up to you. try to get atleast 2 hours at least would be my suggestion. Try to perform some manual stretches too, IF YOU CAN. GOOD PE'ing!

| ok, just found out my PM was delivered today, its waiting for me at home. I have been using the PJ for 2 years, so, can I just jump right in with the PM or should I start slow and work up? I was intending to do this routine:
* hot shower, stretching, manual 3 part jelqs
* 50 reps PJ
* 1 hour PM
* 50 reps PJ
* 1 hour PM
* 50 reps PJ
* 1 hour PM
* 50 reps PJ
* hot shower
does this seem reasonable or too much for starting off? |

does this seem reasonable or too much for starting off? | Putting on and taking off them PM that many times is just more trouble than it's worth. Stretch after your workout if you want but all that starting and stopping isn't worth it. As a rule, take the PM off when it starts to hurt and take a break at least every 3 hours.

| ok, i've got it on right now...impressed with the build quality, its pretty comfortable,i'm at 4.5 lines of tension. its pretty easy to get it on and off, the rods combine to make a length that would be more than enough for any human, maybe i'll use them all if i fall in love with a donkey.... lol! i'm also surprised at how easy it is to wear under jeans, it really can't be seen, the only thing is sitting with it on is awckward, also it compresses the springs reducing tension. anyway, i am pretty psyched with it! |

| Chang: I would say that you should just do your routine and dont do that switching from jd to PM thing. Just do your normal routine and then wear the PM for the remainder of the day. 1 hour on 30 min- 1 hour off and repeat.

| Thanks for the advice. Since I'm starting a new phase in my PE program, I thought I should post some measurements:
03/2004 (started PJ)
EL: 7.5
EG: 4.5
05/2006 (started PM + PJ)
EL: 7.75
EG: 5.125
GOAL
EL: 8.5
EG: 6.5
basically, I'd like to grow 1" - 1.5" in both directions... I hope that combining the PJ and PM devices will get me there in about a year. With patience and proper use, this should be attainable, right? Is gaining 1.5" inches in girth and 1" in length a realistic expectation?
