ARGHH!!! PM is already broken!

I just got this thing like 3 weeks ago, and the inside part of the little plastic hinge thing on the base that holds the right hand rod just broke off!!! I'm not even using it all that much, maybe 3 hours a day. I am really pissed. What should I do? Is this under some kind of warranty? Who should I contact, Nature's Accents or the main PM device website? This sucks, this thing is expensive, I'm not very happy right now.

Unless it has changed, the warranty is for 3 years. They have great customer service, and I mean great. Contact the business you purchased the PM from and see if you get a response. I got mine from the makers of the PM years ago and their response time and serivce was unbelievable.

well, i went to pmdevice.com and placed the order on their site, which then seemed to have redirected the order to "nature's accents" who shipped the device to me from somewhere in Nevada...

E-mailed Kenny and also sent a message through the PMdevice.com website on their contact us form. Hopefully this will be resolved soon, I was just getting into a good routine with my PM.

Has anyone else had this problem? Are those little plastic hinges on the base prone to breaking often, or can I rest assured that this was an isolated flaw, a fluke, an the replacement one won't break?

It was probably a unique incident. That plastic is very strong and would take a lot of effort to break if manufactured properly.

well, in case this ever happens to anyone else, this is the protocol:

XXXXX,

We are very sorry to hear that your PeniMaster was faulty. *We are the US Distributor for the PM Device. *We purchase wholesale from our German Manufacturer and distribute mainly in the United States, but also around the world. *For spare parts, replacement parts, and any other questions outside the realm of purchasing whole PM Device units, please refer to the warranty guide included in your package. *Fortunately, you are fully covered under your 3 year warranty. *The link to they’re website is the following:

http://www.penis.de/English/FAQs/FAQ..._warranty.html

They provide a high level of customer service, and will send you a replacement part immediately. Please let me know if you should have any difficulty obtaining your replacement.

Sales Manager

I sent a picture of the broken part along with my info and have already received a reply, with assurances that a new part will be sent to me. Very fast and courteous response. So now, I just wait till it gets here.

New part is here! that was quick. I'm very happy with their customer service, this is a big plus. To anyone considering buying one, this should be a positive. Now I dont have to mess around with the broken one anymore. I just hope the new one holds up...
