New Female Member

I am very happy to announce we have a new female member! Would you guys please welcome Susan, aka Southern Belle, to our forum?

I have already e-mailed Susan a couple of times and told her what types of advice and comments she should give and what types of questions to be expecting from you guys. Please give her some time to get accustomed to this forum and to you guys. I hope some of you do not start acting like you are back in high school and start harrassing her for photos, etc. That is just an excellent way to run her off.

Susan should provide some excellent female perspectives to some of your questions and issues. I think you guys will like her a lot. She has a great sense of humor!

Hello everybody and thanks for making me feel so welcome. I am not really sure what I am doing here, but Maurice talked me into joining. At first I thought he was just messing with me because I usually cannot tell when he is being serious and when he is joking. My name is Susan and I have taught the first grade for the last four years. I will be 26 years old in July. I have known Maurice for about five months now and being around him some, I feel like I teach first grade almost around the clock, if you know what I mean.

I also told him why would I want to join this forum since I have no penis to make larger but he said the male members sometimes like to get women’s points of views on different relationship issues and he said currently there is just one female to do that. Jennifer and I e-mailed each other a couple of times and she made me feel pretty comfortable to at least try out this forum to see if I would like it. I have read some of the members’ writings over the last couple of weeks and it seems like y’all have a blast here.

So I decided what the heck. It might be fun. I have especially read some of Maurice’s writings and I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. He writes very similar to how he acts and talks.

I just have one favor to ask of everyone. Please do not think I act or talk as he does! I hope I can make a contribution here.

Well shit. I thought we finally had a woman on here who could talk in a language I can understand - SOUTHERN. But if you don't talk like Maurice, then I won't be able to understand you either.

One question: Does Maurice refer to you as coonass or asshole? Either name is a way of greeting one another down here. I was just wandering which one you would prefer to be called

Welcome here to Betterman's. Susan, even other Cajuns don't talk or act the way Maurice does. Have you found a good custom designed 2X4 to knock some sense into that hard head of his?

Actually, I met Maurice at my school. I know what some of you are thinking - no, he did not re-enroll there. He came up to the school one day with a friend of his whose child was checking out. It was recess and I did not have playground duty, so I was getting some things ready for the students to do when they came back.

All of a sudden I hear someone behind me saying, “Man, if I had teachers that looked like you, I would have paid more attention in school.” So, this was my first encounter with Maurice. Maurice is just very good at putting people at ease, especially women, saying the dumbest, silliest things.

We talked for just a couple more minutes and then his friend was ready to go. Maurice said he was having trouble remembering all of his ABC’s and asked could we get together so I could help him. He then asked me for my phone number. We talked a few times on the phone before we actually went out.

We are not dating in the literal sense. We go out maybe once or twice a week but I know he is going out with other women, although he will not admit it. I see the big jerk flirt with other women right in front of me, so I know what he is up to, which is okay because I just got out of a very long relationship a few months ago and I am not looking to get back into anything serious right now anyway.

Maurice is definitely a ladies’ man. He is very handsome and he is just very natural making women feel very comfortable around him. Women always know what is on the male mind all the time but Maurice can make us laugh and loosen us up very easily. Although he has only come to my school three times, everyone knows him.

Maurice came up to my class twice after we initially met. The first time he visited, he told the class he was an astronaut. When one of the students asked him what was he doing here instead of flying a spaceship, Maurice replied the spaceships were all broken so he came home to visit.

About a month later he came to visit again and had forgotten that he told the kids he was an astronaut in his previous visit. On this visit, he told them he was a football player. When the kids reminded him about being an astronaut, he replied that was his “day job” and football was his weekend job.

But none of this probably surprises any of you, does it?

I can absolutely see this. Maurice has proven to be a great source of laugh therapy for me...........some of the situations he finds himself in.........well, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, glad you're here with us and THANK YOU Maurice for bringing Susan on board! Nice job bro!!

Damn right 10 theres always a party going on man. And its a damn good thing Susan teaches first grade and not in high school. When I saw her bent over that desk for the first time I thought I almost was gonna get arrested. If she taught in high school none of the guys would pay any attention to what she was teaching. Picture Susan as Jessica Simpson but with blue eyes and brains.
