Supplement Suggestion

I think Fish, Flax, And Borage Oils should be added to the suggested supplements. These greatly increase heart health, increasing circulation to the entire body. The speed up metabolism and raise energy levels. Additionally, the oil from these sources seem to play a role in the repair and formation of cells and their cell walls.

What does everyone else think?

I like the idea of taking flax and I do, probably about 6 grams a day. I like the benefit the Lignans have on SHBG and enhances the clearance of circulating estrogen by binding to estrogen receptors on the SHBG.

I think it's almost like supressing the estrogenic effects or hormones.

I believe that these benefits are only if you consume flax seeds... flax seed oil doesn't offer as much benefits as the actual seeds do. You just have to crush them (or blend them in your protein shake as i do) or they'll just pass thru your bowels as whole seeds.

The best solution to that, sikdogg, is to get ground flax seed at the organic food store. Or if you live in a rural area like me, there are several farmers markets and Amish community stores that sell hand ground flax.

As a bodybuilder or athlete, you should take flax, fish oil, and vitamine E anyway. If you are, that is.
