Jelq slightly erect or more flaccid?

Im not sure if I have been doing this right...

Am I supposed to be jelqing while partially erect or more flaccid? I usually jelq more flaccid and when i feel i get too erect, i stop and do some kegals so that i can limp up a bit, then I continue.

Is this right or wrong?

I've found that around 60% erect is ideal for me. Some here, recommend 75-80%. I really like to move the blood bulge and feel that a little less erect does a good job.

If you're just starting out go at a lower level..probably 45-50%. then increase your erection level as you get more conditioned. After 4 months I'm currently jelqing at 70-80%...

Definitally..But be careful..When I started I tried to get a little too intense to soon...and I busted a vein.

I usually start jelqing at about 80% and then when it gets down to about 40%, I will stop and get it a little more erect. But that is just what works best for me. Everyone will be a little different.

I'll deff have to say that a lower erection level for me is ideal. I really dont like getting really erect, because its like trying to jelq a metal pole sometimes.

I prefer 80+ %. IMO at that percent your expanding the chambers beyond there capacity which is what jelqing is all about.

crispycrunch, 80% is almost too much for some newbies. If you havent completed the newbie routine, then you shouldnt jelq with that much of an erection.

i tend to jelq about 80 %+ because based on the theory of expanding tissue and your body getting used to it, jelquing less erect than that doesnt really seem to expand or engorge my penis as much as i think it should but when i jelq almost completly erect i can see the thickness change.

I think jelqing at lower erection levels is merely masterbation. When I gained .5 inches in girth in 3 months, I jelqed at 80-100% erect. I wouldn't recommend this for newbs though. About 80% is ideal I think for moving the blood around.

.5 inches in 3 months, that damn good. what was your rutine like? right now im doing about 30-60 minutes with the jelq device after about 10-20 min of stretching. then a 5 min warm wrap. this usually does pretty good as i almost always have a donut ring below the glans and most people say thats a good sign.

If you dont have a whole lot of fluid build-up then you are making progress. You just want to keep seeing the pump effect, just not a lot of fluid.

It's probably more like 4 months, but I was jelqing like a madman. I was jelqing for over an hour at near 100% erect. I never had any fluid build up from jelqing, or anything. I stopped for awhile to focus on length, so far so good, I guess I cemented my girth.

I personally like to jelq at a more flacid level. It feels like to me I get more girth stretch flacid than erect. I like JP's level, if not even a little less. I am usually somewhere between 40-60%.

I did! I probably got 80% of my growth over the years, following the routine I outlined in the Newbie section. The other 20% I attribute to the mechanical devices. Kal, this is why I said "try my Newbie routine."
People come here, (to this forum) looking to increase the size of their penis (Length and girth) and then want to do everything their own way. I posted an exercise plan that has been proven to work, (for me and others that have written) and recommended that everyone should start with the basic exercises. Granted, these exercises are boreing and require dedication but they do provide results. It is human nature to want immediate results and that is why so many of you jump into every new exercise that you read on these or other boards. Penis enlargement doesn't work this way. This has been stated many times here that growing a larger penis is a marathon, not a sprint. Take this from a guy that wanted a larger penis and has been doing PE for over 43 months. All I can ask is, "How bad do you want it?"
Over the time, I have added other exercises in other threads, that complement the basic routine that I feel add to the growth process and help cement gains. I know that it is almost impossible to go back and read every post ever written in this forum, this is why everyone should ask questions and then can be advised or directed to exercises that have been found to give the desired results. I will state this one more time, then shut up.

Condition your Penis to accept the exercises. Then settle into a routine using the basic exercises and STICK WITH IT. JP
