Well, a lot also depends on what you mean by having sex with me. I dated (and eventually married but that's another story) a woman who was very Catholic. She did not want to have sex with another man until she was married. She had been sexually active before I met her but before we met she decided that she regretted it and had decided to wait.
We dated for about 6 months before we had intercourse, but that doesn't mean that we waited until then to have any kind of sexual contact. Hell, we were having foreplay on the first date. By the way, we didn't get married until many years after we first had intercourse. We aren't married anymore, but that is not related to the question.
How long would I wait to have any kind of sex? Well, if I really liked her, I would probably wait 2-3 months, but that would be about it.
Would I break up with someone who wouldn't have sex with me at all? Even if I really liked her? Yes. As a matter of fact, that is very close to what caused me to get divorced from my third wife.
