Alternate method for using the PJ?

Forgive me if someone has already adressed this here, but, I have been using the PJ in a different way that is shown on the intructions, which is having the rollers vertical instead of horizontal, squeezing the sides of the dick instead of the top and bottom.

I alternate sets of about 15 - 20 reps of vertical (sides) and then horizontal (top & bottom), but trying to do a little more on the sides, because I feel it gives me a really better workout and feels safer. Has anyone tried this? Any "scientific analysis" of this technique? I have read elsewhere that there are a lot of sensitive nerves on the top of the shaft right below the head, so it's safer to work the sides. Is this true?

The only thing I have found negative is it's awckward to do, the device wasn't really designed to do it, but it feels much more effective...

If you have a penis with an adequate "shape" that makes this possible, then I would say it's fine. The problem most guys have is that the penis has a greater diameter across than it does top to bottom. This makes the penis less likely to slip out while using the PJ since it is in essence "flatter" in this position.

I have tried doing the side method and it is pretty tricky to keep the penis from slipping while doing it. I do manage to get in a few reps on the sides and it does feel very effective. The only thing I would caution is you could injure yourself doing it on the sides due to the slipping. The rollers could pop off and you could cut yourself, so be careful if you are going to try this.

If you feel you are getting a good workout then you most likely are. When I use my PJ that's how I do it too.

Thanks for the feedback... I definitely feel it giving me a heavy, thick, filling workout. I wish the PJ device could be somehow modified to facilitate doing it that way.
