I was wondering if it would be negative in any way if for whatever reason you got an erection while wearing PM. If so any ideas how to prevent it?

The only negative effect of having an erection while wearing the PM would be the loss of stretch. The more you use the PM the more you get used to it and erections will cease.

If I get an erection using the PM, the base acts like a cockring and won't allow the swelling to go down. The erection usually subside within 10-15 minutes.

If I get a good initial stretch and then make an adjustment to the rods to stretch it longer, this has caused erections.

The more you use the device, the more your penis will be accustom to being tugged and stretched.
