Issue with the rollers

Hi guys. I have an issue with my rollers.

I use... well, full pressure, I guess, with the jelq device. I completely close the handles and hold them as tightly as possible. After about ten reps I get this thing where my penis has formed a "tunnel" that I can see through in the rollers, like a groove. This makes it hard to get the same pressure, so I just turn the rollers a quarter-turn.

Is this normal? or am I doing something wrong? Or should I just let the groove develop and hold the handles with both hands and squeeze hard?

thanks.

That doesn't sound normal. Either you're squeezing way too hard or your PJ is defective.

Well buddy, what can I tell you? I know with the old foam rollers, that this used to happen. The foam would compress over time and would form a channel.
With the new "Dura" rollers, no one has mentioned this. If you are squeezing hard enough to deform Neoprene rollers, then you must have Popeye forearms. Oh...What type of lube are you using? Petroleum based lubes will soften rubber and eventually rot the rollers. Clean your device after every use with soap and water, this is also imperative for sanatiry reasons. Then put a drop of light oil at the hinges.

I have the new rollers, as far as I know :0 I got the device 2 months ago or so.

I use vitamin E with aloe vera baby oil as lube. So I should use something water based, like KY or Astro?

My forearms are pretty large and strong (I used to deadlift A LOT). I can't imagine, though, that I'm popeye enough to make the rollers deform in an unusual way. But I guess if we rule out everything else from being a potential cause, I just won't press as hard, I guess.

What do the Dura rollers look like? The outside of my rollers is pretty much smooth, but from the side, they have a tight spongy look to them.

I see. Well, I'll stop using the baby oil immediately. I hope I haven't damaged these rollers beyond repair!

I guess i need new rollers?
I also use Johnson's baby oi gell, and I have only had my device for around 6 months. I have the same issue, my rollers deform as use it, and get grooves in them. Is this the cause of using this particular type of lube, or have i used too much pressure? The device does not seem to give as effective of a workout and disrupts the flow by turning the rollers. Advice appriciated.
