| On an airplane? I have a quick question about pumping devices. I actually don't use them, and probably won't (unless I become convinced that the gains are permanent), but I'm curious about something. A few times, when browsing forums here and elsewhere, people have advised others to not bring a pump on an airplane. Unless they're talking about luggage being searched and how it might be embarrassing to explain the pump to someone, what happens if a pump goes somewhere by plane? Obviously a pump has to be able to seal completely to change the pressure around the penis to make it swell, but can't someone just open one end of the pump so that air can flow freely in and out?
Or am I thinking too much about this and it's an issue of the cylinders being glass and thus, fragile? lol. |

| Nothing happens to the cylinder or pump. The discussion was about luggage being searched.

| I brought this up when I took my pump to Hawaii back at Christmas of 2004. My pump actually busted. The cylinder was fine but I couldn't get the actual pump itself to work. I think the airpressure busted it. Ended up throwing it away in the dumpster.

Some baggage handler must have thrown your bag too hard.

Then maybe the cold temp in the luggage compartment did it. I don't know. As well packed as my suitcase was at the time, my pump was well secured so I doubt someone threw it too hard. In either case, it wasn't working when I got there. Oh well, I since replaced it anyway.......

That makes sence, the moisture might have frozen and expanded the pump to the point it broke or got distorted to the point it couldn't get a good seal. |
