| Just got back from the Optometrist, eyes all dilated and shit. Wheew, adventures in driving.
My glasses I use for reading and the computer, snapped the frame where the stem joins and of course the lens fell out. It had been over 10 years since I had gotten glasses and these were still working fine. Naturally I was on the computer and wanted to finish, so I thought, OK, I'll just super glue the lens to the frame. Got out the tube of glue and held the lens in the frame and tried to squirt a little glue into the groove, it wasn't coming out so I squeezed really hard. SQUIRT...I had my fingers stuck to the lens, the frame, the counter top, the tube and all my other fingers. What a freakin mess. Never did get them to hold. Still pickin glue off my fingers today. Luckily they had a cancellation so I got in today. Got some super cool transition lens' for driving (the kind that darken and lighten, no Rx in these) and another pair of reading glasses. So I started a poll just out of curosity for how many of you need glasses.

| near sighted with astigmatism , i need glasses to drive , my eyes are bad , i dont remember the number the the doctor when i went and got my eyes done for first time was like wow , ur blind a bat , and the guy that gave me my glasses was like thats a pretty good perscription for being your first time getting glasses.

| I clicked that I don't need glasses. Maybe this is a stupid question, but I wear contacts. If contacts didn't exist, I'd need to wear glasses all the time. Maybe I'm overthinking this... Am I right to click "I don't need glasses" ?

| I would never even wear sunglasses my whole life because I was always told how blue my eyes were and how cool they looked. Now I'm older and I find that my night vision is the absolute pitts and more on the depth perception than anything. They tell me it's from not wearing sunglasses, paying the price for vanity I guess. | |
