| To answer Jennifer's question, my wife and I have been together for almost 22 years (married almost 19), and before she came along, sex was sex and I was definately having my share of the one night stands.
Now when I met my wife, something was different about her and I was more interested in what she had to say than I was about having sex. Shit,we were on our third date before we even copped a feel off of each other. Before her, I would have been trying to think about how to get the girl out of her clothes ten minutes after meeting her.
All these years later we still go at at least four to five times a week and each time is just as good as the first. Maybe it is because we know what each other likes and occasionally we throw a little something new in just to see what happens. | |

| From a guy that has experienced both sides of this issue fairly recently... i have to say that married sex is only as good as your relationship. When all is well emotionally between partners then the sex is great but as soon as the relationship starts to break down then the sex is non-existent or just plain bad. There's also the fact that no matter how hot your wife is or how great your wife's pussy is... over time it WILL grow tired of it. That is a fact!
Booty-call sex or one-nite-stand sex is good and can be great and although it's not typically as good a married sex when everything is great, it's fair to say that it's definitely better than manual sex. | I don't see a reason why married sex can't be as good as if not better than casual encounter sex. Granted, it does depend on how strong the bond is between the husband and wife and it also depends on how into each other they are...............whether married for 10, 5, or 1 year.
The sex my ex and I had could be phenomenal................and did several times suck. The times when were both seriously into one another during the act made it far more meaningful and special as opposed to the times we knocked it out in 20 minutes just so she could watch something on the tube.
Now, I am a single guy...........have been for 3 years now and quite frankly, I found marriage and sex to be far easier than dating and sex. Dating sucks. Period. It seems as though there are all these hidden agendas on both parties and such..............I don't know, again, I think dating sucks. To be honest, no, my standards aren't too high. In fact, I've readjusted them slightly. This doesn't mean I'm going to accept anything. I realize that the only way I'm ever going to find someone is to date and meet different women and through casual conversation, find out about who they are and what they're about. Now, would I date someone who's a grocery store checker that has a heart of gold over someone who's got a high corporate career, power and prestige but is totally void of a personality and is a bitch? Absolutely.
In my efforts to protect my heart from being hurt again, yes, I have been too picky these past several years. I will find me a good, decent, compassionate woman. Guarantee it. The only way to find that person is to get out there, meet and talk to them. That's one of my goals for 2008.
