10 ol' buddy I think you might want to re-assess things, "ice queen"?? Just because she didn't put out after your date? If that is how you're judging quality then I think you better start over.

I'm not coming down on you bro but if you can't just go out with somebody or anybody and have a good time the that's your problem. Make the best of every moment you have and enjoy life, don't always be looking down the road to things like if you're gonna get laid or not because sooner or later you get down the road and then you find there is just more road in front of you.

I'm very pleased that you did have a bowel movement, at your age you should try to stay regular....maybe more fibre and some prune juice

Um.............wow. I'm not even sure how to respond to this Sonic. It's very hard to have a good time Sonic with someone without a personality. That being said, you haven't been out with Cathy. You haven't experienced the moments of very awkward silence at dinner she and I have had. I don't feel 100% comfortable around her as she gives off a very "icy" vibe.

Furthermore Sonic, and yes, if I do sound a bit pissed.............well, I am. I am a very congenial, outgoing, personable, FUN guy to be around. Also, I've NEVER gone out with a woman with the idea or notion that if she didn't put out I would be looking for ways to get out of the date. I've never EVER operated like that and I resent the implication. I was looking for ways to get out of the date because I was uncomfortable and not enjoying myself. Period.

When I go out with a woman who's presumably interested in me, which Cathy evidently is or was, I typically expect some level of affection to be given by the 3rd date............and no, I'm not talkin' about her bobbin' my knob or anything sexual. I'm talkin' holding my hand, touching my knee or lightly caressing my leg..........some level of interest. When you're sitting on the couch with someone and she has her arms crossed all friggin' night.............what message is that supposed to convey? A little brisk if you ask me. Every date, Sonic, has been this way. I'm in no way suggesting that I expected her to jump my bones on Sat. night but I was looking for some signal that she was interested. Her antennae were froze over.

Cathy also has ALOT of personal problems in her life...............none of which I want any part of and some more of which I found out about this morning. I do enjoy life Sonic and I do enjoy just seeing where the road takes me and believe me buddy, if I wanted to get laid, Orange County is crawling with cheap freakin' whores that I could pay $100 for a quick fuck at the local Motel6.

So your post couldn't be anymore off center, base or just plain off than it is.

Because when I took her to my company party 3 weeks ago, I saw promise and hope of a personality.

Saturday night she was back to her same old first date self. Quiet, reserved, to herself and she just didn't give off a "fun" vibe. I need a woman who enjoys life and likes to laugh and live and I just don't see that in Cathy. So, I'll put her in the "friend" box but that's as far as it'll go.

As for the OC whores, shit, I think the $100 price tag was a bit much. It's more like $50 but you supply the rubbers.........

Thought I'd put an update on this thread. Since I made the decision to start dating again and getting myself out there, I've met some really good success. No, haven't gotten laid BUT, I am out there talking to and hanging out more with women which has really built up my self confidence. The old 10 wouldn't have asked a really hot woman out, the new one wouldn't have a problem with it..............worse thing she says is "no" right?

Thus far, I've been out with Marcie, Cathy, Julie and now Noelle. Noelle................holy shit guys, she's a tall, cool drink of water. 5'9'', slender build, GREAT personality and great conversationalist. We went out for lunch yesterday and there really wasn't a topic we didn't discuss. She made me feel so totally comfortable being around her. She's educated, articulate, well spoken and very out going. My kind of lady. She's not afraid to put on a bathing suit and go to the beach. She's a 5th grade teacher (I keep finding teachers for some reason??).

Anyway, we're going out again. It's also nice to be able to look at a woman head on and look into her eyes versus having to constantly look about a foot downward to see her eyes ;)

So, I'm making progress here fellas. It's amazing what this type of regular interaction does for your self confidence. Amazing. And yeah, I still plan on getting laid sometime this year............

Ha, ha. No, just trying to offer up some suggestions or thoughts as to some good places to meet cool women. The bar/club scene gets old (or would for me) real quick, so I'd say try out some recreation activities like cycling groups, bowling teams, scuba clubs, etc. Just a thought because my wife and I do some of these and there are plenty of hot and cool single females that are involved. My 2 cents...
