| Speed Dating
Wow, I haven't started a new thread in some time.
Anyway, I've been giving the concept of Speed Dating some serious thought. It sounds really fun and a great way of meeting a large group of women at once and be able to weed out the freaks.
Has anyone ever tried this and if so, what was it like, did you meet some quality chicks, how long is the whole process, etc.
It's about damn time 10 got himself a date.............and not just a date, but a HOT date.

| I have a friend who speed dates all the time. At the malls, office, restaurants. She gives a guy about 10 seconds. So far, she has met a couple of nice guys. So go for it!

| Well, wish me luck guys and gal. I haven't gone speed dating but I just signed up with an online dating service. I'm having 0 luck on my own so I'm hoping this will get me in touch with some interesting, fun and sexually active women.

You'd be surprised Sonic. Yeah, there are a ton of women out here but you really have to be careful who you bring home (case in point: there's a reason I'm divorced and it isn't because she was a real peach).
And like IA69 said, I'm not looking for the common bar whore to take home and fuck. I want more than that. That whole bar scene isn't me. Besides, do you know how many women Sonic do online dating here? A TON of them. I guess it's the new black.

I meet them at the gym, through work, church (probably the best), clubs (not bars, business clubs and such), taking courses, co-ed sports (we got a no touch rugby club) and on and on> I think you just have to get out more and I hear you on the bar thing, no way for me either. | |

Well, I took some real estate courses at the local community college thinking I might be able to meet some that way. The women in my class are either too young for me or older than shit and look it.
I am trying to get out more. Believe me. And, when I do happen to find one I'm interested in and there's a physical attraction, she's usually got a ring on her finger. There was a blonde at the gym a few days ago...............OH MY GOD! But, she had the dreaded wedding ring on............oh well, my luck.......

Also try dancing. The ratio is at least 5 to 1. This is a great way to meet women because you can get up close, touch them, smell them, feel how they move and how they respond to your chatter.

Either one are great suggestions. I'm going to see how Match.com works first though (since I paid for it). If that turns out to be a dud, then I'll go to plan B, C, D, etc.....
