| Overdoing it Vets i need your advice I think i overdid it with the powerjelq. I feel some pain on a specific area of the left side of my penis. Ive stopped training and it seems to be healing.
When i return to exercising i will manualy jelq for a good few months before i use the power jelq. I was just to keen and it has only halted my progress.
I was wondering if any of the veterans could help me. Have you guys experienced similar injuries? How long should i wait before returning to jelqing?
Thanks Guys

Samson (ive learnt my lesson) 999 | Well Samson, hate to tell you, we told ya so. Gotta condition the old schlong.
I would lay off PE untill you can't feel any soreness. You have probably irritated a ligament. Warm up several times a day with a hot wash cloth for 5-6 minutes at a time, This will help the healing process. When you feel comfortable, start the Newbie routine, slow and easy. Do ONLY the exercises recommended just one time a day. After a week or so, you should be able to go a little harder. If you experiance any pain, stop. Wait a couple of more days and then try again. Don't feel bad, I did the same when I first got the
powerjelq. You should be ok in a week or so. Good Luck. JP

| Ironically, I've never had problems with the pj, only manual jelqing. I think I got a thrombosed vein when I first started jelqing. PJ usage has ceased that problem and I can do 400 pj's in a session and it feels GREAT!
But as JP says, go easy on yourself if you've sustained and injury. Do the newbie routine and give yourself plenty of time to rest and heal.

| Samson,
I've had a few injuries,
Thrombosed veins, blood blisters and so on from hanging too much weight too soon.
I layed off PE for a few weeks each time to heal.
The interesting thing about dicks is even though they are very sensitive they are also very, very durable and recover from injuries quite nicely.

| Thanks for the support guys your always so positive i was heart broken when i realised that i had picked up an injury, but ive learnt my lesson.
One more thing, you guys mentioned a thrombosed vein (if i have spelt that right).
The point of pain seems to be on a vein on the left hand side of my penis and the vein is quite pumped up like the vein on your biceps when your pumping iron, does this sound familiar to anyone and if so how long should i lay off for?
By the way the pain is easing off. |

By the way the pain is easing off. | A thrombosed vein will feel hard. Not soft like a pumped up vein. If you don't have a thrombosed vein you may simply have stressed the tissue around the vein.
A week or two off or being extremely light will get you all healed up.

| hey guys,
I also have a had an injury i believe, after my first month of taking pe'ing seriously. I gained .2 " in 4 weeks and was really getting into it. Did it while jelqing and had a question about the technique of my jelq.
I like to sit down when i jelq, i feel like i get much more of a stretch, i actually can stretch my penis so that it is actually is .2" to .3" longer than when started. (kinda like a pump when weight lifting) When going up the shaft with one hand i use the other hand to hold the skin back. It makes for a much more intense jelq. I felt a little pain when doing this once on the left base side of my penis, definitely the ligament. It has been sore for about 4 days now and i was wondering if any of guys have ever had this?? Also i just received the JD device in the mail and still have no knowledge on the product. Could anyone please let me know the right way to use this thing...
Thanks |

| When I jelq with Mi Hands, I stand. I seemed to get better leverage and grip that way.

| I wouldn't. You need to stretch the skin to allow for growth. Are you warming up before your exercises?

| yes i warm up for usually 5 min or when everything feels very loose. But then when the skin comes up i can't really have a good milk towards the end of the penis...kinda stops with an inch of skin ahead of the my milking hand.... |
