| Would be interesting ,if any of the other girls, BB for example, have any definite ideas on ideal male bod. I seem to remember ,some photos being posted, of some very athletic looking dudes. However TZ is the only girl to post definitivly on this. |

| How very easy going of you BB. You just made every man at betterman feel good. However, there must be some things, that make you like some more than others?
Do you like them to have their own teeth , hair? From previous posts, I would guess you like a similar height range to Tz (as an ideal). You also like an athletic build, how much muscle is too much? As I remember, as an ideal you like some girth to a dick.
Now Pegasus is puting words in your mouth. I don't mean to be patronising, this thread just deals with a fabatasy ideal anyway. |

However, when it comes to face and personality, you either have it or you don't. So I guess you could say you found yourself an all-around great catch. If he joins a gym, then you'll have your own Cali-backwoods version of Mr. Butler.

I must question the whole diet and dedication thing. Granted, I am alot older now that I was when I attempted the full blown six pack thing but even back in my early 20's, as much "dieting" as I did and as much protein and rabbit food as I ate, I still couldn't muster up the elusive six pack.
Thank God I've got the face and personality..............

| Well I had the six pack most of my life, despite force feeding myself. Puting on muscle was what I had difficulty with.
I am with ten ,back in the real world very few people are going to have a body like GB.
Though everybody can improve. |

| I still think genetics has alot to do with whether or not one can obtain that elusive 6 pack and get shreaded with muscle. My genetics suck so I'm kind of screwed.

A lot of waht keeps us from getting ripped in the mid section is food choices. Eat to many carbs and can kiss the efforts to get a six pack good bye.

| Well I was drinking a gallon, of full cream milk a day and copious amounts of food and still had abs. So I think genitics come into it. It is hard for me to understand people having such difficulty with it. But I take their word for it. Having said that, many people just need more disicipline. We all have weaknesses, it is how we deal with them. |

| Genetics have A LOT to do with body-fat % and how lean can one get with proper diet and exercise. I've only had a 6-pack twice in my life; once when I was 19yrs old (kept it until about the age of 21) and it was the result of TONS of calisthenics, surfing as much as the weather permitted and the fact that I was a YOUNG BUCK WITH LOTS OF TESTOSTERONE AND GH running freely through my whole system, which allowed me to eat whatever the hell I wanted, smoke tons of weed and drink beer on the weekends. The second time I had a six-pack was back when I was 27 and spent 3 or 4 months doing calisthenics and tons of jump-rope, while also watching my diet a little bit. I say a "little bit" cause that was during my time in New Orleans, where the local cuisine is as delicious and irresistible as it is packed with plenty calories; it was an easy balancing act, since my job back then was very physical so I got to burn plenty of calories while at work.
This last aspect is also something that has to be taken into consideration when making food choices for loosing fat: How many calories do you burn through the day when not in the gym. Right now I'm mostly as desk jockey @ the hospital, so I gotta watch how much I chow down. A couple of years ago, I was working as a warehouse clerk @ a very busy music store, doing TONS of walking, moving & lifting throughout the day. I was eating a Burger King triple Whopper combo for lunch EVERY SINGLE DAY...and I was quite a lean dude. Gotta look @ the big picture always.

Though everybody can improve. | There also need to be mentioned that many of these actors and models DO train/diet specifically for those photo-shoots, just like fighters lean out for the weigh-ins before a fight. I've seen pics of those guys (including GB) when not in photo-shoot/movie shape and although muscular, they are NOT as lean and defined as they look in those pics. Plus, there is such things as air-brushing and photo-shop.

I eat ALL day long. Not because I necessarily want to but because I'm legitimately hungry.
Now, as for this 6 pack thing, I've been close but NEVER been able to fully pull it off. And while it may be argued that genetics have little to nothing to do with whether or not one can produce the highly sought after 6 pack, I personally believe in my heart that genetics play a HUGE role in whether or not a guy can achieve one. Back in my early 20's, I dieted like a mad mother fucker on speed and I STILL couldn't get one. The only time I'd see my abs was when I'd cough. I'm 6'2'', about 215-220. I simply do not believe I have the body type for it. Then again, my lady LOVES me and my body just the way it is.

Bloating after eating a starchy food for example this would block any effort to shed those last few pounds. Also a milk or soy allergy could block this as well.
Then thier is metabolic syndrome, high insulin in the blood, high blood presure, high cholesterol this results in centrel obesity. Maybe your just a tad metabolic X.

I wouldn't say I've got central obesity. I have had more than one person tell me I look very well proportioned and I'll admit, I'm pretty solid in my mid section, I just have a thicker layer of fat over my abs than most. Sucks but it is what it is. I do try and monitor what I eat and how much and try and eat small portions but always find myself hungry. It really kinda sucks.

| Hmm, this sounds like you guys are geting down to thin levels of fat, but the ab muscle isn't showing through it. I don't have to be ripped for my abs to show through. Recently I was 225lb ,(at 6ft 1in) my abs showed through ok, but I was hardly cut. I have come down to 220lb now and my intercostals the muscles at the side of the gut are showing ok. Now I am fairly lean, but not ripped. The reason, the muscles show through the thin layer of fat, is that there is enough muscle to do it. That is, muscle size in the ab muscle, is rarely thought of. But if you don't have it, you won't show abs even when lean. In very rare instances people have a a problem with this, I remember a bodybuilder called Boyer Coe. However, most people can develop their ab muscle, without great problems. |

Try to keep the ball still. I see people use momentun when doing ab work. Momentum nills your efforst roll those shoulders foward very slow.
Also reverse crunches, fold those knes, lift your hips towrd your navel. You do not want to feel this in the thigs, if hyou do your working the thighs not the abs. do 3 sets of 10 to start do lower abs first, theb do 3 sets of 10 for the upper abs.

| Well my training went well for awhile. Got to the strongest I have been. My aerobic improved a little, off a low base I admit, but I can jog out a couple of mile and thats all I am after. Lost 3 or 4 kg in weight about three quarters of it fat, abs look great.
However now, I am not happy with my flexibility and I lost a little muscle off my shoulders and arms. My girl likes big shoulders too, so the process continues. |

| Tell him his dick is sexy BB, it will increase his libido.
It can be hard to tell what women find attractive. Girls are always telling me I have a good bum and I have the same reaction. |

Shit, Renee is ALWAYS telling me how "sweet" my ass is. And when I got to bed wearing nothing but my white briefs, she damn near melts and can't keep her hands off of my ass............rubbing it and caressing it........it's funny as hell.
