How does this sound?

I've been reading various posts where people talk about doing 20 to 30 minutes, but then I've read numerous posts where people said over-training is not good either and it could hurt, or cause problems. Or prevent growth.

So how about a nice middle. Anyone do only 5 to 10 minutes a day, for 5 to 6 days instead of let's say 30 minutes for only 4 days. in other words, wouldn't it be better to do only 10 minutes worth and spread it out than do a lot at once?

Or how about only 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes at night. This way you spread it out over two times at day.

Anyone find this helpful, or do you all think the workouts need to be intense? From everything I'm reading people are saying less is more.

I second Stroker's take on this. For me, it takes me at least 3 minutes of "warm-up jelqs" (minimal pressure at a pace of 1 second each) before my unit is ready for some real jelquing. However, I've seen how I tend to have better days than others, so when I seem to be having a really good session, I take advantage of it to the max. For example, I always try to get in a good 225 or so jelqs before ending the session with 5 to 10 Uli's. Some days, my unit gets tired and the Uli's won't be working that well and, after a couple of tries, I'll just call it a day. Other days, while in the middle of not-so-great Uli's, suddenly my PC/BC muscles get a "second wind" and I'll be busting out one solid Uli after another. Other times, my PC/BC muscles will get a "second wind" that's not good enough to bust out some top-notch Ulis, but good enough to squeeze some solid jelqs for another 5 to 10 minutes or even more. It's all a matter of listening to your body, just like you do when you lift weights at the gym; you'll always have better days than others, so make sure to pay attention to your body and learn to flow with its unpredictable tides and currents. Take full advantage of it's surges and learn to accept when it's clearly telling you to back off.

Sorry if i'm new to this, but what is a Uli?

oh and how many seconds should one stroke last? one second? Or is that just for you? I thought it's best to go slowly and take 2 or 3 seconds per stroke.

And do you start from the base and go all the way to the tip of the glands or do you guys stop at the glands? Just trying to get an idea of how to do this from people who have had a lot of practice. I would hate to do it wrong.
