| I second Stroker's take on this. For me, it takes me at least 3 minutes of "warm-up jelqs" (minimal pressure at a pace of 1 second each) before my unit is ready for some real jelquing. However, I've seen how I tend to have better days than others, so when I seem to be having a really good session, I take advantage of it to the max. For example, I always try to get in a good 225 or so jelqs before ending the session with 5 to 10 Uli's. Some days, my unit gets tired and the Uli's won't be working that well and, after a couple of tries, I'll just call it a day. Other days, while in the middle of not-so-great Uli's, suddenly my PC/BC muscles get a "second wind" and I'll be busting out one solid Uli after another. Other times, my PC/BC muscles will get a "second wind" that's not good enough to bust out some top-notch Ulis, but good enough to squeeze some solid jelqs for another 5 to 10 minutes or even more. It's all a matter of listening to your body, just like you do when you lift weights at the gym; you'll always have better days than others, so make sure to pay attention to your body and learn to flow with its unpredictable tides and currents. Take full advantage of it's surges and learn to accept when it's clearly telling you to back off.
