| I've worked in the field of Mental Health for several years and my opinion is to stay away from ANYTHING that might have even a remote chance of interacting with your medication. I have seen several cases of people who took stuff that was clearly against the recommendations of SSRI's and they're still paying the price years after the fact. About 5yrs ago, a client who was taking medication for mild depression, decided to take some herbal supplement to help with his libido (it contained Yohimbe amongst other herbs) and he had such a massive anxiety attack, that he had to be hospitalized for a couple of weeks to stabilize him. Ever since then, although he's gotten better, he's always grappled with recurrent bouts of anxiety and depression that take quite a toll on him every single time. If you're concerned about possible sexual side-effects from SSRI's, talk to your doctor about a possible switch to Wellbutrin, which is an NDRI (nor-epinephrine dopamine re-uptake inhibitor) instead of an SSRI (selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor). Apart from having the opposite effect on your libido that many SSRI's do, it also has other pleasant side-effects such as loss of body-fat.
