| Hmm, this sounds like you guys are geting down to thin levels of fat, but the ab muscle isn't showing through it. I don't have to be ripped for my abs to show through. Recently I was 225lb ,(at 6ft 1in) my abs showed through ok, but I was hardly cut. I have come down to 220lb now and my intercostals the muscles at the side of the gut are showing ok. Now I am fairly lean, but not ripped. The reason, the muscles show through the thin layer of fat, is that there is enough muscle to do it. That is, muscle size in the ab muscle, is rarely thought of. But if you don't have it, you won't show abs even when lean. In very rare instances people have a a problem with this, I remember a bodybuilder called Boyer Coe. However, most people can develop their ab muscle, without great problems. |
