| question: i was stretching just now getting ready for a PE session... and as i stretched my member to the sides i notice that theres these bumps along the sides of my cock... they're lined up so that they look like a rib cage... obviously im not dumb enough to think its really bone, but i was just wondering if anyone else had this ?? or if one of the pros here knows wat it is???

now that i know that its the tunica.. and not a bunch of weird looking veins... i was wondering... does the size of the bumps directly correlate with my potential to grow? and does it also matter that the tunica is more visible on one side? |

| As an alternative to using the hot washcloth, I took a new knee high sock and cut about 8" from the top of the sock. I then sewed one side closed and filled it about 3/4 full of rice and sewed the other end closed making an 8" rice bag. Put this in a microwave for about 45 seconds and it holds the heat for almost 15 minutes. You may want to put a cloth between the bag and your penis until you get used to the heat, but this method has really helped me in my warm-ups. After doing my exercises I simply jump in the shower and take a nice, long, hot shower to relax all the muscles. |

| Was wondering what people have found in terms of standing vs. sitting vs. lying down for these exercises? It seems like stretching is probably fine in any position (I've been doing standing). For the jelqing it's probably sitting or lying down. The V-jelqs seem easier sitting as the hand position seems more awkward any other way.
Thoughts? |

1) In terms of warm-up, I seem to recall reading that elevated temperatures in the groin area can lower sperm counts. I'm a bit concerned about the warm-up period. Any thoughts?
2) In terms of hand position do I have the following correct:
Helicopter shakes - palm facing up
Stretches/kegels - palm facing down (opposite of helicopter shakes)
Wet jelqs - palms facing down (same as stretches/kegels)
V jelqs - palms facing up but hand inverted so that fingers are closest to the body and wrist is furthest away
(I hope that made sense)
3) How do people deal with excess skin? It seems like when I'm jelqing I'm more just moving skin around. Any tips here?

Any thoughts? | Yes, heat in the groin area may reduce sperm count, but I'd rather have a low sperm count from the warm-up/down, than a broken piece of equipment from not warming up/down. Just like working out any part of your body, if you don't prepare the area for the workout, your increasing your chances of injury. Remember, it only takes one to fertilize the egg. I'll let the veterans handle your other two questions. |

Ditto to what marjam said, but I do believe there was a study done several years ago comparing the sperm counts of men who wore briefs with those who wore boxers and the men in briefs were, oddly enough, higher. I don't know what a possible explanation was, but the point is that heat is probably a bit overrated when it comes to dropping sperm count.

| I may be wrong, but by my understanding, as long as you are forcing the blood through the penis and into the glans you are achieving the goal of the jelq. I have a similar problem having some excess skin pulling towards the glans, but I just follow all the way to the base of the glans and the allow the skin to slide out while holding just behind the glans. |

| I will try & keep this as short as possible. If your seeing my name for the 1st time, or if this is the 1st post you've seen from me in awhile, check the newbie sign in before you reply please. This is my 2nd post for the day, & its been along time since I logged on to this site. So here it is, my routine. (If you want to call it that). Honestly right now I dont have one. Biggest thing I've found in doing PE is staying dedicated. I started back Mon with the eye of the tiger. 10 power stretches I think you call them, & 300 jelqs. Stretches consist of Straight out, then left or right, then down, then up. I do A kegel set of 10, sometimes 12 on my last stretch. Jelqs I do 300, not 150 if you think I'm not doing the math. I heard, or saw A jelq is actually each hand milking it once that makes it 1 complete jelq. Correct me if I'm wrong. If this is not the case then I did 600,lol. Tues I just did Stretches, 25 to be exact. Yesterday, 300 jelqs. I know I will probably hear the (Newbie Routine) theory, but I'm trying not to get bored, & stay dedicated for the most part. I gained .5 Inches Since I last measured & this was with very little effort. I will cut it now cause its starting to look like A long message again,lol. Till next time. |

| I'm trying man. Just got done with my session. Thing is with me, I PE while laying down. Is that cool? I tried the helicopter lastweek Minus the (shake) whatever that is,lol. It seemed to work A little better on my balls standing up, but that was it. Is laying down while PEing cool?
