Hey Uber or sikdogg I have a question about Kegals. When Im laying down and my dick is pointed towards my stomach I can do Kegals real easy for as long as I want. But if Im standing up and my dick is pointing down I can still do them but they are a whole lot harder to do. Is this normal or have I fucked up my prostate or something?

I've never had this happen to me but I will say that when i am stretching my dick up and kegel, i feel a pull much more powerful and longer than when it is pointed down. This is when Im standing or sitting. I dont know about laying.

I don't understand what you mean by harder to do... The pc/bc muscles are so small that they don't really offer any resistance. Can you explain a little about how it feels harder to do standing versus laying down??

This might not be an exact analogy but like when you do arm curls just standing and then do them on a preacher bench. Your using the same muscles but its alot harder to do them on the preacher bench.

While Im sitting here at the computer I just tried them again. When I do them with my dick pointing up towards my stomach I can seem to hold the squeeze harder or with more intensity compared to when my dick is pointing down.

Actually i think the answer is pretty simple... it goes in line with Bib's LOT theory. Assuming that you have a high LOT... as you point your penis toward 6:00, you create a sharp turn on your penile shaft (almost like a kink) which disrupts the pull from the PC muscle. I've attached a diagram that Bib created a long time ago to explain LOT and how the ligs effect it.

Looking at the top diagram, you can see how pointing your penis down creates a "kink" which disrupts the energy of the pull from you PC muscle.

Yeah, that's the general feel of the exercise. I've recently (almost completely) overcome premature ejaculation, and kegals really do help. I just got a prescription for Zoloft, so I'll report progress. Won't be seeing my girlfriend for a few weeks though aheh.
