    Sounds good UA.
My training hit a bad patch after the strength cycle.
Considering doing something like what you are for a cYcle.

How is life UA? I see you became a premium member.
Got to 3 on 170kg in dl as posted on Pegasus this is a 5% odd increase since last cycle. Squat also up a couple of % on lifetime pb, bench steady at lifetime pb(pathetic as that is). I think the westside style has allowed for a longer strength cycle, However my back is hurting, funny enough not from weights but from work, so am going to do some hypertrophy stuff. My arm and delt muscle mass is down a little.

Have posted to thread Pegasus, re dl and ab development. Thought ab development would be an issue that comes up for your clients?

From watching other people, I conclude that straps are like shallow squats, A major trap. People never seem to come off them. Am doing chins and wave loading( varying the load in a wave pattern a la Bompa).
Have you any clients 40y plus doing DL at more than a moderate level? If I go light I have no problem. But bugger that.

Thank you for your reply. However it is not my back ,giving me problems re DL, it is grip related. The ligaments in my forearm can't seem to handle the stress. I have bought straps, but have long considered them a cop out, so have never used them. Perhaps I am to bloody minded, for my own good.

As described in thread P ,I am having problems with injuries, re Dl ,any time I attempt, even slow linear progression. I may be on the right track. Will continue till I know. My blood pressure is an issue just now, so that doesn't help.
