I'm 53 and suffer from ED sometimes ,married and self conscious of it, so my wife doesn't know about me pumping.

I bought a pump from Basic Essentials called The Best buy pump ,measures 8 inches long by 2.1 inches wide.
I usually get a length of a average man I guess close to 7"long not sure on width but normal I guess nothing to brag about, I'm a grower not show'er.

I upgraded the pump with a silicone donut instead of the plastic cone like sleeve it had and it's more comfortable now also added a pump with a gauge on it instead of the bulb pump it had.

I don't get a chance to use it everyday so have been doing it a couple days a a week for about 5 minutes at 5lbs of pressure.
I did try a little more just to see what it felt like and see the size I could get and got up to 20 lbs for a few seconds and released pressure and didn't want to hurt anything.

It does look impressive to see it get huge inside there but after removing it the size doesn't stay long and is less fat and limp.
I don't want a fat limp dick but a harder dick, a fatter and longer one would be nice too.
I tried to jelg but I'm not sure I'm doing it right but it does make me horny, lol.
I tried the rubber erection keeper they sell but it doesn't keep me hard at all. I slipped it on the end of the tube and pumped up and slipped it down on the base of my penis and then released the vacuum and my dick went limp not erect at all for penetration, I have managed to masturbate but it was just fat and limp mostly but it felt good to be fatter.
most days afterward my skin at the base of my head is swollen ( circumcised ) and looks weird but after a couple days it looks normal again.
I am about to throw everything away and give up.

Is there any advice you guys can give me .

I know about Ed and pills,I have some luck with viagra but I was hoping the pump would help also.

I don't smoke or drink heavily, some stress and not being able to perform like I used to EVERY time does cause some anxiety.

not overweight, never had any injuries that would cause this and I hope the pump doesn't cause anything since it's what I was hoping would help.
they sell pumps in drug stores but they are expensive and don't look like they are worth it.

Hi built. For whatever reason ppl think now that i have a pump i'm going to be big and strong. I know cuz i was one of them. And the same thing happened for me. After years of pumping i learn that erectile tissues have to be created. Because of fluid retention and cell splitting and tendon expansion your erection muscles can't keep up with all the new activity. Try pumping for a while then give your penis a mild excersize. Dont over pump though. Slow and steady will yeild massive results. Trust me.

Thanks horseyman, What kind of exercise do you mean I should do after pumping awhile.

    Also how long is awhile?

Also after pumping for just five minutes the ring around my head gets swollen and looks deformed for a few days, how do I avoid this donut ?

Erection excersize. You need to pump just enough so that you can still hold a hard erection. If you've pumped and can't hold an erection then you've pumped to long. I pumped to long lots of times. I that case i use an erection ring to get hard. Then start stroking your penis to make it hard. Try to stay hardas long as you can. Dont over exert yourself. You should be able to feel the erectile tissues strenghthening. Its more enjoyable when you have a freind helping you. As for the doughnut is fluid retention that can be reduced by using a condom just behind the glans.

    Thanks, I understand now.
I don't usually get a erection when I pump ,maybe slightly but not enough for intercourse even with a ring.

It is fatter and stays uncoiled for about a half hour but is limp.

Is pumping a waste of time for me?

No it's not a waste of time. I started pumping because my gf wished i had a bigger dick. It's up to you and your partner. And you have nothing to lose by pumping it. It's actually fun and peacefull relaxing even. A higher average of females like a guy thats hung huge.

I agree it does feel good and I know my wife enjoys a thicker dick because at times a viagra pill helps me and I am thicker but sometimes the pills don't work and they are very expensive .
Thats why I was hoping pumping would help my erections and if a side effect was a bigger dick ,good for me.

Maybe I'm pumping too long, I have only been going for 5 minutes at 5 lbs of pressure, Is that too much ?

I don't even pump two days in a row now because of the donut effect, I was scared I was going to cause permanent damage and be deformed.
Is there a risk of a permanent donut ?

I would recommend doing kegels and manual PE exercises. It improved blood-flow much better than a pump. If you are using the pump to give you an erection for sex, and using a cock ring after pumping I would say be careful.

Cialis is usually better due to the longer half-life,.. but pure Icariin products are really potent as well. Every try a dopaminergic - above poster or OP ?

I have never used a dopamine, I have talked to my urologist and he said horny goat doesn't work and any of the herb type supplements are not fda approved and the contents are not reliable and so he didn't recommend using any of them.

I have used cialis and its better than viagra but at 30 bucks a pill it is very expensive to use.
thats why I bought the pump hoping for erection help and better blood flow.
I am starting to use L-Argenine and L-Citrulline and see how that helps.

I am 46 and I have ED. I started pumping a week ago. A huge side effect was that I no longer, Tuck In when not hard. My Fiance and I notice a change. It is not causing me to be firmer but We both notice a change in my size. I hope that it helps with firmness but I can say that it helps our sexual activities.
